It should remind you the tasks so that you don\u2019t have to.\u00a0However, it will not be useful if you aren\u2019t actively using it.<\/p>\n<p>It is interesting so many people \u201cmakes list\u201d but then don\u2019t use it.<\/p>\n<p>When we look at the reasons \u201cwhy people don\u2019t use their to-do lists, we get many different answers.<\/p>\n<p>The reasons fall into two major categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lack of good time management habits<\/li>\n<li>Mismatch of to-do list format &#8211; medium<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Here are some Reasons You Aren\u2019t Using Your To-do List:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>You Don\u2019t a list<\/strong> \u2013 always hear people say, \u201cI don\u2019t need a list.\u201d They tell themselves that \u201cthey will remember what to do.\u201d (but forgets it later.) Or they use the excuse that lists are too hard for them handle. Hence, a to-do list is the simplest tool you can have to keep yourself on track.<\/li>\n<li><strong>You Have so many Lists<\/strong> \u2013 The opposite of not having a list, is having so <em>many<\/em>. Some people keep lists everywhere. Home, workplace, on their phone, on a desk pad, on a sticky note. However, you need one list only. So many lists results in lost tasks and forgotten lists.<\/li>\n<li><strong>List not With You at All Times<\/strong> \u2013 One of the first time management lessons keep in mind is your to-do list needs to be with you always. You can\u2019t refer and check it, or add a task, if it isn\u2019t with you.<\/li>\n<li><strong>List is very Complex<\/strong> \u2013 \u00a0to-do list should be easy to use. Pen, paper excel in this area. If you are using an application, make sure it doesn\u2019t take long steps to add a task to your list.<\/li>\n<li><strong>It Doesn\u2019t Suit You<\/strong> \u2013 Do you need to <em>like<\/em> your list? You should. If you don\u2019t like the medium, you won\u2019t use it. Choose tools you\u2019ll use every day. Don\u2019t use a day planner if you won\u2019t carry it around.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Out-of-Sight means Out-of-Mind<\/strong> \u2013 Your to-do needs to be <em>visible all the time<\/em>. After all, visibility to your tasks <a href=\"https:\/\/timemanagementninja.com\/2010\/01\/the-visible-todo-list\/\">leads to <\/a>use. Apps can be useless in this area, because you don\u2019t see them except when you look at your devise. Notepad and pen can be in front of you at all times.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Not become the Habit<\/strong> \u2013 Your to-do list needs to be part of your daily routine, And reach it easily should be a basic time management habit that you need to develop. As you get used to it, it will be easier than you think.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Are You Using Your To-do List correctly<\/h2>\n<p>Where is your to-do list <em>now?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>It should be at your hand and visible as much as possible.
